We are sure that you all know Malala, a young lady born in Migora (Pakistan) in 1997, who received the Nobel Price in 2.014 and, at present, is living in Birmingham.
Malala has always defended the rights for girls to an education and equality of oportunities. For these reasons, she and two other girls were shot by a Taliban on the 9th of October, 2.012 when they were on their school bus. He wanted to silence them. Since then, she and her family have to live away from their hometown and she is a peace embassador all around the world.
In this video, made by students in “Malala Shows Us Values” workshop, elaborated in San Pedro de Trones (Puente Domingo Flórez Rural Unified Primary Public School) with their teachers’ help (María Jesús, Ibán y Sonia), we can see some important moments in this young lady’s life.
